Orazi, Mackie Biernacki ready new skincare brand

Toronto-based marketing agency Mackie Biernacki has begun an initiative with beauty products company Orazi to develop a new skincare brand made from the Tigernut plant. The agency will also provide brand strategy, marketing, design and web development services for the product line, which includes Orazi Age-defying Skin Sorbet, Anti-wrinkle Neck Smoothie, Restorative Cleansing Oil and Dew You(th) Serum. In related news, Mackie Biernacki has hired journalist and media personality Antonia Whyatt as its director of editorial content. She will head content creation for Orazi.

"We all believe in the provenance, the power and the protection of the Tigernut plant," said Whyatt. "We're unearthing that which was previously known and now bringing that wisdom to the modern world. We're doing it cruelty free and with ethically-sourced, sustainable and proven ingredients. It's a pure made-in-Canada story by a Canadian entrepreneur. The Orazi story couldn't be any more compelling, and we're in development now on an extensive marketing campaign to roll it out."
