Dyslexia Canada conducts Mark it Read campaign

Toronto-based charitable organization Dyslexia Canada has undertaken an awareness campaign called “Mark it Read” for a fourth year. Sponsored by IG Wealth Management, the national campaign is timed to coincide with Dyslexia Awareness Month and is intended to raise awareness of and support for Canadian children with dyslexia. During the month of October, various buildings and monuments will be illuminated with red lights. According to the organization, the colour red is intended to represent the red ink used to highlight spelling mistakes in school assignments. The effort also includes social media activities.

“As a founding partner of Dyslexia Canada, IG Wealth Management is proud to help champion the charity's annual ‘Mark it Read’ campaign,” said Damon Murchison, president and CEO of IG Wealth Management. “By improving literacy among young Canadians and those most vulnerable, we can help foster better-educated and more financially confident communities across the country.”
