CHARTING NEW COURSE WITH SOFTWARE

Micrografx Canada Inc. recently released Micrografx FlowCharter 7, the latest version of the company's business diagramming software. In addition to business drawing, diagramming and flowcharting capabilities, the updated software includes a new feature called Living FlowCharts. With Living FlowCharts users can create interactive flowcharts that collect data, perform calculations and simulate processes. FlowCharter 7 is available through distributors across Canada. Fred Patterson, Micrografx Canada's general manager, told Adnews the company's relying on PR and direct sales to sell the new software. Toronto-based Cohn & Wolfe is handling the PR efforts. Based in Burlington, Ontario, MicroGrafx Canada Inc. is a subsidiary of MicroGrafx, Inc. of Texas. MicroGrafx develops and markets graphics software.
