Efkay, Cosmo Music form joint venture

Musical instrument distributor Efkay Musical Instruments and music retailer Cosmo Music have debuted a new joint venture called Launch Music. The Toronto-based entity will focus on logistics, distribution and marketing services aimed at Canadian musical instrument dealers. Launch Music will be headed by Jean-Philippe Lambert, previously of Desjardins. The firm’s services will begin rolling out in April.
