MCDONALD'S OFFERS MASK WITH FRIES

McDonald's Restaurants of Canada Ltd. is giving customers the opportunity to purchase a mini replica NHL goalie mask when they buy fries or hash browns. The promotion, which began last week, will continue as long as supplies last at participating Canadian restaurants. Customers will be offered a choice of seven masks at each location. Each mask is mounted and features the goalie's name, uniform number, stamped autograph and NHL team logo on the base. A 30-second national TV spot starring Montreal goalie Jocelyn Thibault is promoting the offer. A 15-second TV spot and radio commercial will run regionally. Cossette Communication-Marketing of Toronto handled the ads.
