JR. JAYS SETS SAIL WITH CANOE
By Adnews Staff
Community Programs of Toronto will begin publishing an interactive version of the Jr. Jays Magazine in April. Like the hard copy version, the Jr. Jays CyberMag will contain comic strips, children's jokes and riddles, reviews of children's TV shows, music, books and movies, profiles of Blue Jays baseball players and educational features. It will also have an interactive element including games, contests, e-mail to Dr. Jay and a children's newsgroup called Net Friends. The magazine will be located in the SLAM! Sports section of CANOE and will be updated several times a week. The Jr. Jays Magazine sends out over 2 million books to children between the ages of seven and 12 each year. Canadian Online Explorer of Toronto will create Jr. Jays CyberMag.
