Mattamy Homes hires Theturnlab
By Adnews Staff

Construction company Mattamy Homes Canada has retained Theturnlab of Toronto to handle its marketing activities. According to the companies, Theturnlab will assemble a custom marketing services agency to handle the account. The assignment includes research, marketing strategy, consumer analysis, media work and creative development. Mattamy selected the firm in a six-month audit of its marketing and advertising activities. Its first work will be new advertising for Mattamy in the fall.
“We know from our previous life running an integrated ad agency that the traditional AOR model simply does not fit companies that demand both research-driven strategic horsepower and nimble, always-on execution,” said Howard Chang, co-founder of Theturnlab. “The model we have co-designed with Mattamy Homes is a hybrid that takes the best of what consultancies can offer, like research, strategy and planning, partnered with a dedicated in-house agency team, outsourced to and managed by Theturnlab on a cost-plus formula.”
