Truly debuts Phlywheel service

Toronto-based marketing firm Truly Inc has launched a new unit called Phlywheel intended to provide small and medium-sized businesses with a range of self-service digital marketing options. According to the agency, the unit is intended to provide users with creative and analytical expertise at a lower budget. Offered as a monthly subscription, the service is intended to simplify the process of digital marketing and to provide advice on successful marketing strategies. Its content covers topics including a speaker series, case studies, how-to videos, downloadable guides and templates used by real campaigns. Users can also access one-on-one coaching sessions and access to online community lessons.

“When people ask if you should build an in-house team or hire an agency, my answer has always been, 'both,’” said Phlywheel CEO and co-founder Tara Hunt. “For small and medium-sized businesses, with Phlywheel, now you can. We offer members cost-effective access to the experts. It’s human expertise with algorithms and at scale. We like to call it agency expertise at cup-of-coffee prices.”
