Recycle BC conducts Recycling Home Tour promotion

North Vancouver-based not-for-profit organization Recycle BC has begun a promotion called the “Recycling Home Tour,” aimed at consumers who are self-isolating at home during the COVID-19 pandemic. The online campaign takes consumers on a room-by-room tour of a house, identifying items such as packaging and paper products that can be recycled. According to the organization, the intent is to focus on items that people are least likely to recycle. The promotion is located at <http://www.recyclebc.ca/hometour>, supported by social media content on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

“Most people have been home for a few weeks now, and we are hoping those who are healthy and looking for something to do will take a moment, maybe on their lunch break or weekend, to review all of the opportunities we have identified,” said David Lefebvre, director of public affairs at Recycle BC. “We know British Columbians take their recycling seriously. We hope this campaign will help them take their recycling efforts to the next level.”
