Chefs Plate begins Conquer the Kitchen campaign

Meal kit delivery service Chefs Plate has begun a fall campaign called “Conquer the Kitchen.” The campaign consists of digital and transit advertising in Toronto, along with social media activities. The creative highlights the ease-of-use of the company’s meal kits by comparing them to basic kitchen activities such as boiling water or turning on a stove. The campaign was developed in-house in collaboration with Toronto-based Crowdiate.

“We wanted to show how unbelievably quick and easy Chefs Plate makes preparing a home cooked meal made with whole foods and fresh ingredients,” said Lauren Wong, vice-president of marketing at Chefs Plate. “Chefs Plate is just about as easy as take out, for a fraction of the price while also being more satisfying to consumers who want delicious home cooked meals without sacrificing convenience. This campaign is a departure from the homogenous ‘mommy’ advertising often seen in the meal kit category.”
