McLuhan & Davies debuts VR public speaking training

McLuhan & Davies Communications of Toronto has introduced a new service that uses virtual reality technology to assist consumers overcome a fear of public speaking. Called "The Skilled Presenter VR," the course is intended to train a user in various aspects of public speaking and allow them to practice in front of a virtual audience. The system also provides an analysis of the user's speaking style, gestures, body movement and eye contact.
"In an ultra-fast business world that is constantly evolving, there is a need to move forward with creative, agile and adaptable training solutions," said Amanda James, chief operating officer at McLuhan & Davies. "Virtual reality is the solution to these changing needs, and it's taking on-the-job training to a whole new level."
