Crayola resumes Thank A Teacher contest

Crayola Canada of Lindsay, ON has resumes a contest promotion called "Thank A Teacher." The contest encourages consumers to show their appreciation for teachers by submitting hand-made thank-you notes online at <http://www.crayola.ca/thankateacher>. Entries will be judged on the basis of creativity, originality, inspiration and intelligibility. The grand prize winner will receive a $10,000 classroom makeover for their teacher, a one-year supply of Crayola products for the school, a $1,000 scholarship for the student and $1,000 gift cards for the student and the teacher. Weekly winners will receive $250 gift cards for themselves and their teachers. The contest will run until Sept. 7.
"A colourful, handwritten thank-you note is one of the most creative ways you can show your appreciation to a teacher who has touched your life," said Margot Somerville, director of product marketing and communications at Crayola Canada. "As we kick off the next phase of our 'Thank A Teacher' campaign, we're excited to continue to celebrate and thank teachers across the country for the work they do each day. We know that Canada is excited for the opportunity and we can't wait to see all the heartfelt and inspiring thank-you notes we receive for teachers."
