Quebecor acquires naming rights to Shawinigan amphitheatre

Quebecor has acquired the naming rights to the concert venue at La Cité de l'Énergie theme park in Shawinigan, QC. For the five-year term of the agreement, the venue will be known as the Amphithéâtre Québecor. The venue features a rotating platform 30 metres in diameter that can accommodate approximately 900 people.
"Quebecor is proud to be partnering with La Cité de l'Énergie, an organization that, like our own, is deeply committed to the cultural and economic development of the beautiful Mauricie region," said Katia Villeneuve, regional sales director at Quebecor. "Under this partnership, we will marshal the strengths of all our brands to raise La Cité de l'Énergie's profile even further in all parts of Quebec."
