Coinsquare breaks new campaign

Digital currency trading system Coinsquare has begun a new advertising campaign intended to communicate that investing in digital currency "doesn't have to be scary." Developed by The Garden Collective of Toronto, the campaign consists of television and out-of-home executions. The 30-second television commercial depicts a room full of untrustworthy people claiming to be digital currency experts. It ends with the tagline, "Invest with pros. Not cons." It will run on CBC, TSN, TSN2, Sportsnet, CTV and BNN beginning April 12.

"We embraced the fact that people don't know who to turn to for digital currency investing because of the horror stories and scams," said agency co-founder Shane Ogilvie. "Our strategy was to take people's fears head-on and present Coinsquare as the trusted leader while bringing a halo of credibility to the overall category."
