Cadillac Fairview readies CF Brighter Lounge promotion

Toronto-based real estate developer Cadillac Fairview is preparing to conduct an Olympic-themed promotion called the "CF Brighter Lounge." The company will install temporary lounges at its 19 shopping centres nationally at which consumers can track the Canadian Olympic team at the PyeongChang Winter Games. Lounges will also be installed at four office towers owned by the company. The installations will include screens displaying CBC coverage of the competition. They will be open to the public during the regular opening hours of each property from Feb. 9 to 25. The initiative also includes a social media-based fundraising component. Cadillac Fairview is a sponsor of the Canadian Olympic Committee.

"At CF we believe in the power of the Olympic spirit and Team Canada to inspire greatness in all Canadians and unite local communities nationwide," said Jason Anderson, senior vice-president of marketing at Cadillac Fairview. "There is no shortage of pessimism in today's world and we want the passion, perseverance and optimism of our Canadian athletes to remind us that young or old, we can all aspire to make positive change and create a bright future for Canada. This is the spirit behind CF Brighter."
