Dermalogica readies chalet promotion in Toronto

Skin care company Dermalogica Canada will begin a promotion in Toronto on Jan. 17 in support of a new product line called UltraCalming. The initiative will take the form of a temporary retail location called the "Dermalogica Chalet" at which consumers can test the products, which are intended to protect sensitive skin. The installation will be presented as a way for consumers to escape the cold. It also includes a lounge area which will provide winter-inspired snacks and a virtual reality presentation. The promotion will run until Jan. 21, supported by social media activities.

"Everyone's skin is affected by winter's cold climate in some capacity," said Melissa Daniels, general manager of Dermalogica Canada. "Our chalet was conceptualized to create a comforting and warm sanctuary for people to learn more about their skin and how the new UltraCalming products can help them sooth damaged skin or proactively protect themselves before symptoms like dryness, redness or itchiness begin."
