Zerospam Security signs deal with TechData

Technology company TechData of Clearwater, FL has signed an agreement with Montreal-based Zerospam Security to make use of its cloud-based anti-spam system. The system will be integrated into TechData's StreamOne service, where it will be offered for sale to clients in the US and Canada for resale. The software detects email-based security threats such as ransomware and spearphishing attempts.
"With the growing threat that ransomware, phishing and viruses represent, email security has become more critical than ever," said Stacy Nethercoat, vice-president of cloud solutions for the Americas at TechData. "There is a huge need in the marketplace for high-performance cloud anti-spam solutions such as Zerospam, which can easily be combined with Office 365. The security market is a key one for TechData, and we are extremely pleased to offer our customers the ability to buy this solution on StreamOne."
