New marketing vice-president at Equibit Group

Toronto-based digital technology company Equibit Group has appointed Stephen Barnard to the position of vice-president of marketing. He will oversee the company's marketing efforts in Canada and internationally. Barnard was previously the operator of his own consulting company. He was also director of product development at TMX Equicom and managing director of FastChannel Canada at The Canadian Press. Barnard has also worked at TSX Group, BCE Emergis and Cantel. Equibit Group specializes in blockchain-based financial technology products.
