Afghan Women's Organization conducts campaign

The Afghan Women's Organization of Mississauga has begun an new advertising campaign intended to raise awareness of the non-profit organization's work assisting refugees and landed immigrants resettle in Canada. The campaign, developed by Toronto-based Send & Receive, consists of three 15-second television commercials that highlight various services offered by the organization. Each execution consists of a single shot in the style of live theatre. In each, a person sitting alone in a room is joined by a group of people who make the place more welcome. The campaign will run until the end of the year.
"In a simple way, we wanted to show how transformative AWO's work really is," said JP Gravina, creative director at the agency. "The spots show how these volunteers actually change people's lives."
