Mile Inn launches in Toronto

A new content production company called Mile Inn has opened in Toronto. The company describes itself as a collective of specialized production firms whose services are represented by Mile Inn. These include audio company Apollo Studios, experiential and VR agency 1One, film and photography studio Morrison and branded content agency Popp Rok. The organization is modeled on a similar collective using the same name in Montreal.
The company was co-founded by Yan Dal Santo and Paul Maco, co-founders of Apollo Studios. Dal Santo will serve as co-president for English-language markets in North America. Maco will be co-president for Quebec and Europe.
"Brands are reaching audiences in entirely new ways today," said Dal Santo. "We want to innovate in the production space, not simply be reactive to change. Clients can enter through the front door and work with a lead creative producer who crafts a customized production solution or they can simply go directly to any of the specialized boutiques. It really starts getting exciting when you look at how we can cross-pollinate opportunities within the group. A musician can be assigned to a film shoot from the get-go if it's a musically-driven concept or a seasoned advertising director can conceive and shoot an experiential brand activation and on and on."
