New marketing vice-president at CMPA

The Ottawa-based Canadian Media Producers Association has hired Andrew Addison as vice-president of communications and marketing. He will be based in Toronto. Addison was most recently an associate vice-president in the reputation practice at FleishmanHillard, where he was a consultant to the CMPA. He has also been manager of media relations, strategy and communications at the Canadian Bankers Association, as well as a consultant on international public affairs at Scotiabank.
