TV GUIDE CHANNEL VIEWERS ON THE RISE

Rogers Cable Advertising of Toronto saw its weekly audience reach numbers grow 23% for its TV Guide Channel during the period from May 27 to Sept. 1, according to ACNeilsen People Metre results. Weekly viewership was 1.8 million adults 18-years-of-age and over. The TV Guide Channel provides viewers with an ongoing TV program listing as well as previews from current pay TV movies. It is available in over 2.3 million households in Canada. Ads are shown in between the pay TV video clips. Rogers' Direct To You-The Infomercial Channel had a weekly viewership of 1.89 million adults 18-years-of-age and over from Aug. 5 to Sept. 29. DTY is a 24-hour infomercial network offering national, regional and local coverage. It is available in over 80 markets across Canada.
