AllNovaScotia.com expands into Newfoundland and Labrador

Halifax-based news website AllNovaScotia.com has launched a new property called AllNewfoundlandLabrador.com which will focus on daily business and political news in that province. This is the company's first expansion outside of Nova Scotia. The subscription-based service will publish five times per week.
"We think there's a real appetite for our brand of news coverage in Newfoundland and beyond," said David Bentley, co-founder of AllNovaScotia.com. "We're investing in local news coverage. It's been a tough year for daily newspapers, but we think the future is bright for insightful local news."
