SYMANTEC LAUNCHES HEALTHY PC SOFTWARE
By Adnews Staff
Symantec Corporation of California launched a family of five software products for Windows 95 recently. They are: PC Handyman, which solves thousands of hardware and software problems and helps users understand how their computers work; Healthy PC, which is a one-step PC maintenance program; Norton Utilities 2.0, which optimizes hard drives and fixes other small problems; Internet FastFind, which combines seven Internet search engines; and CrashGuard with Anti-Freeze, which prevents most PC crashes and unfreezes application lockups. In Canada, they will be supported by a national print campaign in newspapers and trade journals. Access Advertising Management Inc. of Toronto handles Symantec's advertising in Canada.
