Fabricland hires William Joseph Communications

Toronto-based fabric retailer Fabricland has retained William Joseph Communications of Calgary as its new marketing agency of record. This is the first new agency for the company in 26 years. The agency's assignment is to develop new, more modern branding for Fabricland that preserves the history of the company. The initiative has begun with direct mail and in-store materials, as well as the launch of a new sewing club called the "Fabricland SewCiety."

"At the launch, the reaction was fantastic from our staff and customers," said Paivi Kanary, marketing manager at Fabricland. "We love the new name and logo, a much needed modern contemporary update. The new concept created by William Joseph is a perfect fit for our company's goals and vision. Our new re-designed mailers have been a hit with our employees and most importantly with our customers. You know you have a hit when your customers are giving you that feedback."
