Canadian Securities Institute begins social media campaign

The Toronto-based Canadian Securities Institute has begun a social media campaign in which financial advisors will relate their stories of success and failure. The effort, called "Faces Behind the Letters," will include online videos and social media messages on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. The campaign promotes the institute's credential system.
"We wanted to spark a unique dialogue among Canada's financial services professionals, highlighting their professional advice given their experience," said Marie Muldowney, head of the Canadian Securities Institute. "From this experience, we can better gauge the type of learning we need to provide. By gaining a deeper understanding of the challenges and realities advisors are facing, CSI can support them, and the industry, with relevant training, resources and insights."
The Canadian Securities Institute is a subsidiary of Moody's Analytics.
