Toronto Public Library begins digital content campaign

The Toronto Public Library will break a campaign in that city today promoting its collection of digital content available for borrowing. The campaign focuses on the e-books, digital magazines, videos and music hosted at <>. It will consist of transit advertising and social media activities through the month of October. The social media element includes a contest conducted via Twitter and Instagram, the winners of which will receive Apple IPad Mini tablets.

"We want to let everyone know about the great selection of digital content at the library," said acting city librarian Anne Bailey. "It's our fastest growing area. Even though demand is high among those who know, we know many people aren't yet aware they can borrow e-books and e-magazines or stream music and video with a library card. We hope this campaign will create even more interest and borrowing."
