Liberty & Co Communications opens in Toronto

A new communications consulting firm called Liberty & Co Communications has opened in Toronto. According to the company, Liberty & Co will focus on raising the profiles of professionals and corporate entities. The agency is headed by president Shannon Lewis, previously director of marketing and business development at Mediacom Canada. Prior to that, she was a senior marketing and sales manager at Brydson Group and a senior account director at Capital C. "In an increasingly commoditized industry it is imperative for agencies to differentiate themselves," said Lewis. "Often agencies lose sight of branding themselves, as they are focused on growing their client's business vs. their own. A company's reputation starts from within. Ensuring that agencies have a compelling and authentic positioning is essential to igniting growth in a highly competitive economy."
