Red Bull readies international hockey tournament

Energy drink company Red Bull is preparing an international amateur hockey tournament that will take place on outdoor ice rinks in Finland, the US and Canada. The tournament, called "Red Bull Open Ice," will begin with a series of qualifying events in early February. Thirty-one qualifying teams will advance to the final in Helsinki, Finland on Feb. 23. The Canadian qualifier will take place in Edmonton on Feb. 9.
