Scotts Miracle-Gro hires Traffikgroup

Lawn care company Scotts Miracle-Gro Canada has retained Traffikgroup of Toronto as its agency of record for in-store marketing, promotions and sponsorships. The assignment includes Scotts brands including Turf Builder, Miracle-Gro, Eco-Sense, Ortho and Scotts Wild Bird Food. Traffik will develop communication strategies focusing on retail activities, shopper marketing and sports marketing. This is the first time Scotts has placed all its brands with one agency. "Traffik is a company that really understands our business," said Glenn Martin, marketing director and co-general manager at Scotts Miracle-Gro Canada. "Our overall goal is to provide our customers with innovative solutions to create beautiful and healthy lawns and gardens. Traffik won our business because they are the perfect partner to help us share this message and achieve this goal."
