ACCOUNTING FIRM TRIES TO SHED IMAGE WITH AD

In an effort to shed the image of accountants as boring, reclusive number-crunchers, Toronto accounting firm Mintz & Partners is displaying a billboard in the midtown section of Toronto using the slogan "Not your average straight-laced accountants". Beside the slogan is a number of coiled and twisting multi-colored shoelaces. The billboard, created by Nyman Ink of Toronto, was put up last week and will run until Sept. 29.
