Stornoway Communications hires one, promotes one

Stornoway Communications of Toronto has appointed Don Gaudet to the position of vice-president of programming. He will oversee scheduling and production for the company's digital specialty television services IChannel, The Pet Network and Bpm:tv. Gaudet was most recently the head of media consulting firm Stratmedia Enterprises. He has also been general manager of programming at Sun TV and vice-president of programming for WIC Alberta Television and later Canwest Global. Stornoway has promoted Cindy Boyd to the position of vice-president of operations. She will oversee the company's broadcast, studio and engineering operations. Boyd joined the company in 2006. Prior to that, she worked for YTV, CHUM and Global Television.
