Woodruff Sweitzer acquires Evoke Research Group

Calgary advertising agency Woodruff Sweitzer has acquired Evoke Research Group, a company specializing in focus groups, interviews and surveys in the agricultural, financial services, animal health and property development sectors in Canada and the US. Evoke founder Keith Dundas has joined the staff of Woodruff Sweitzer as part of the deal. Evoke will also continue to operate under its existing name. "Acquiring Evoke is a strategic move for Woodruff Sweitzer since our agency work is rooted in customer insight," said Jeff Groeneveld, president and managing partner of Woodruff Sweitzer Calgary. "Evoke's ability to go above and beyond in delivering customer and category insight has provided our account teams with a great advantage. With Evoke in-house, we are looking forward to this tighter integration. It will provide our entire Canadian and US portfolio with a competitive advantage." No financial details are available.
