Contiki Holidays Canada begins Have You Done It campaign

Toronto-based travel company Contiki Holidays Canada has begun a new campaign called "Have You Done It?" The online campaign, aimed primarily at consumers between the ages of 18 and 35, is centered on a website at <http://www.haveyoudoneit.com>, supported by various social media activities and ads on lifestyle websites. The initiative includes an online video that encourages viewers to enter a contest by submitting travel photos or videos. The grand prize winner will receive a 14-day trip for two to Spain worth approximately $10,000. Secondary prizes include travel gift certificates, a digital camera, luggage and an Apple IPad. The campaign was developed by Spoke Agency of Toronto. The video and supporting teaser ads were produced by Gloss Creative. The contest will run for one month. "Embarking on a Contiki trip is rite of passage for young adults, so we conceptualized our new tagline, 'Have You Done It?' as a time sensitive call to action for our travellers to seize the moment as a voyage of self-discovery," said Brad Ford, president of Contiki Holidays Canada. "We have incorporated our brand's sense of playfulness and tongue-in-cheek attitude. Contiki is showing our customers all the pleasures and wonders of exploring the world with like-minded travellers while having the time of their lives, by not taking ourselves overly seriously."
