DDB GETS MORE OF WYETH

DDB Canada Healthcare of Toronto was handed the Wyeth-Ayerst Premarin hormone replacement therapy business last month. The agency won the account in a competition with two other agencies. "DDB Canada brought a unique blend of pharmaceutical, healthcare and consumer communications expertise, which is particularly important in the women's healthcare market," Premarin product manager Steve Green says in a release. DDB will launch an educational campaign targeting doctors later this year. The incumbent on the account was Grey Advertising of Toronto. DDB already handles advertising for Wyeth-Ayerst's oral contraceptives: Triphasil and Min-Oval.
