Score Media buys into NuLayer

Score Media of Toronto has acquired 20% of software company NuLayer. The transaction includes a multi-year agreement during which NuLayer will will develop communications technology for The Score. NuLayer recently developed the software for The Score's IPad Edition. "Our mobile, web and IPad platforms are growing exponentially and we are constantly looking for new, creative ways to further engage our fans," said Benjie Levy, chief operating officer at Score Media. "NuLayer understands our vision and through this investment, we've now created an environment where NuLayer and Score Media can continue to work together to develop innovative digital offerings while giving NuLayer the resources they need to achieve explosive growth." No financial details are available.
