Derlea Brand Foods conducts Spread and Save campaign

Derlea Brand Foods of Pickering, ON has begun a campaign called "Spread and Save" to promote three new flavoured spread products. The campaign was developed by Ferrand Communications of Richmond Hill, ON with public relations support from Crave Public Relations of Toronto. During the campaign, which began on April 1, the company will make a donation from each sale of these products to anti-malaria organization Spread the Net. The campaign also includes a coupon that can be downloaded from the company's website at <http://www.derlea.com>. "We integrated PR, web, search engine marketing, mass media, social media and e-couponing, all of which are measureable," said Nicholas Di Cuia, president and creative director of Ferrand. "Given the crux of the message of 'spread,' we exploited its many applications. We partnered with Spread The Net to help raise funds to eradicate malaria, and with World Malaria Day being April 25, it coincides nicely with the April 1 campaign launch. We believe we hit the nail on the head in this niche market of 30-plus moms."
