Bigelow Tea Company signs Wayne Gretzky as spokesperson

The Bigelow Tea Company of Fairfield, CT has signed hockey player Wayne Gretzky as a spokesperson for the company's products in the US and Canada. Gretzky will appear in a marketing campaign consisting of print, broadcast and online advertising, as well as social media activities and in-store materials. The campaign will promote a new line of Gretzky Green teas. "It's incredibly exciting to have a sports figure of Wayne's magnitude as our spokesperson," said company president Cindi Bigelow. "With The Great One proclaiming Bigelow as his M-V-Tea, we're looking forward to many championship seasons ahead."
