Primus begins contest for unemployed

Primus Telecommunications Canada of Toronto has begun a contest aimed at the recently unemployed or laid off. During the contest, which will run until June 15, entrants can visit <http://www.primus.ca/lostyourjob> to submit stories of their personal experiences. The company will select 25 entrants to receive a year of free Internet and telephone service. "The ability to stay connected through phone and email is critical to anyone who has lost a job," said Rob Warden, residential marketing vice-president at Primus. "Primus recognizes this unfortunate reality and, as a company, we want to play a role in helping people recently out of work to rebound by providing them the important services they need to get back on their feet free of charge in this challenging time."
