Canadian Oil Heat Association breaks campaign in Nova Scotia
By Adnews Staff
The Nova Scotia chapter of the Canadian Oil Heat Association has begun an advertising campaign in that province intended to promote oil heating as cleaner and more efficient than it used to be. The campaign consists of television and direct mail advertising, as well as a website at Cleanerheat.ca. "We want people to understand that oilheat has evolved to meet modern needs," said Dave Graham, president of the chapter. "Today, it is one of the safest, cleanest and most efficient means of heating your home. By following the tips and advice we're offering through this campaign, you can see some significant savings." The campaign offers energy-saving advice including the use of indirect water heaters, electronically commuted motors, programmable thermostats, outdoor reset controls, fresh air intake, storage systems, and furnace upgrades.
