New marketing vice-president at Universal Measurement Solutions

Calgary-based Universal Measurement Solutions has hired Bob Ell as vice-president of sales and marketing. The company specializes in remote monitoring and control systems for the oil and gas production industry. For the past seven years, Ell has been the vice-president of marketing at Telvent. Prior to that, he was vice-president of sales and marketing at Hinz Consulting.
