GLP Worldwide Expedition Travel & Tours, based in Markham, ON, has retained Toronto-based Travel Marketing Experts to handle its public relations in Canada. The agency will work to raise the profile of the travel wholesaler. GLP is the Canadian representative for European cruise operators Norwegian Coastal Voyage and Global Tours & Cruises. “We see this as a great opportunity to develop new and stronger relationships with the media and travel trade,” said Gordon Dreger, vice-president of GLP. “We feel Travel Marketing Experts will help raise our profile and assist in stimulating sales in Canada.” The assignment includes public and media relations as well as promotional services and media buying advice.
