Canadian National Exhibition retains new marketing firms

The Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto has hired Field Day as its new creative agency. The firm will handle all branding and marketing materials for the organization. Gaggi Media Communications has been hired to design the exhibition's media plan for 2006 and to implement the media buy. Holmes Creative Communications will continue to manage media relations and promotions. C3 Online Marketing has been retained to work on a new website for the exhibition and to develop online marketing programs. All of these agencies are based in Toronto. According to the CNE, the summer marketing plan for this year's event will include a revitalized brand image, broader online ticket sales and targeted communication to customers. This year the exhibition will take place from Aug. 18 to Sept. 4.
