Financial company Desjardins Group has signed on as the presenting sponsor of the touring shows of Cirque du Soleil in Canada from 2006 to 2008. The company will also be an official sponsor of the 2006 Delirium tour in Canada. Desjardins will present two productions in 2006: Quidam, which will begin in May in Ottawa, and Varekai, which will open in June in Vancouver. Next year, Desjardins will sponsor Cirque 2007, a new touring show that will be performed in Montreal, Quebec City and Toronto. The music event Delirium will debut in Montreal on Jan. 26 before moving to Toronto, Vancouver, Kelowna, Calgary, Edmonton and Ottawa.
