NEW SOFTWARE FOR AGENCIES

Adtraq International is upgrading its Adtraq Agency System software to allow ad agencies to manage their broadcast media planning and buying with one program. Tornto-based Adtraq is incorporating a new program, called View for Adtraq, into its Agency System Software. The new program was developed by Strata Marketing of Chicago. With the updated Agency System software, users will be able to plan, schedule and fine-tune media buys, report changes to clients, bill clients snd pay radio and TV stations. In the past, users would have to use several programs to do all this. In addition, the new system can be used with Windows. A Canadian version of the new program will be available in the fall. Print advertising will back the launch of the new software. It will be created in-house with the help of freelancers. View for Adtraq has been available in the U.S. since February. The Adtraq Agency System not only works for media planning and buying, but also handles production and accounting.
