New chief financial officer at Quebecor World

Jacques Mallette has been appointed executive vice-president and chief financial officer of Montreal-based Quebecor World. He will take over responsibility for the company's financial activities when Claude Hélie retires at the end of the month. Mallette will also remain executive vice-president and chief financial officer of Quebecor Inc. Prior to taking this position in 2003, Mallette was president and CEO of Cascades Boxboard Group.
