Software association hires High Road

The Toronto-based Entertainment Software Association of Canada has retained High Road Communications, also based in Toronto, as its public relations agency of record. The firm will work to establish the association as a primary source of information regarding the Canadian entertainment software industry, according to High Road. The trade association represents companies that publish and distribute video games in Canada, particularly with regard to the issues of illegal software duplication and age-rating policies. "High Road has demonstrated great insights into the Canadian gaming industry and it is very passionate about our business," said the association's executive director, Danielle LaBossiere. "The relationships it enjoys with Canadian media and its enthusiasm for what we are doing made the agency an obvious choice." High Road is now working on an awareness and educational public relation campaign for the association.
