Treehouse readies Thomas the Tank Engine promotion

Specialty channel Treehouse TV has begun a promotional tour called "Calling All Engines" in support of its program "Thomas & Friends." Produced by Kidomo, the tour will consist of 60 live performances at Canadian shopping malls, beginning in Mississauga on Aug. 29. The performances, aimed at young children, will feature Thomas the Tank Engine and other characters from the show. This will be the eighth such tour presented by Treehouse Live and produced by Kidomo. Children who see these show will also receive a personalized Thomas the Tank Engine photograph from Hewlett-Packard, a sponsor of the tour. The promotion also includes an online contest which can be entered at the HP.ca website. The grand prize will consist of a desktop computer, a digital camera with related accessories and a collection of Thomas the Tank Engine merchandise.
