New CFO at CanWest MediaWorks

Toronto-based CanWest MediaWorks has appointed Doug Lamb to the position of executive vice-president and chief financial officer. He will be responsible for the company's financial planning and reporting. Lamb was previously vice-president of corporate development at Metroland Printing, Publishing and Distributing. Prior to that, he held a variety of financial positions at Hollinger International and Southam.
