MacDonald joins Shift Networks

Calgary-based Shift Networks has appointed John MacDonald vice-president of sales and marketing. He will take over the position on June 13. MacDonald was most recently vice-president of national corporate sales at Telus Mobility. Before that, he was part of the senior executive staff of ClearNet prior to its acquisition by Telus in 2000. Shift is a Voice over IP communications provider which aims its services at small and medium-sized businesses in Calgary and Edmonton.
